Wellesley Neighbors Health Committee Guest Speaker
Dr. Andrew Budson
Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia
September 12th 3 PM
Wang Center Room 413 Wellesley College
Dr. Budson will lecture on dementia, specifically Alzheimer’s disease. He will discuss the signs and symptoms to look for and go over case studies with some of his patients to provide us with a good understanding and progression of the disease. He will talk about the caregiver issues and when it is time for them to refer the patient to the appropriate facility and what that might be. He will of course discuss possible treatments that are currently being researched.
"I listened to Dr. Budson’s lecture last year at the Wellesley Library and it was attended by an overflow audience of several hundred people. There will, of course, be a Q&A session. Bring your questions with you in writing. This is an important lecture for our Wellesley Neighbors' Family and most of you should attend." Peter Goldberg
